Ladies I see you

You’re trying to make everyone happy. Saying yes to things you’d rather not do, agreeing with other peoples opinions for fear of not being liked. Sitting on the edge of the group and struggling to find those deeper connections you desperately seek.

Its lonely and you miss that sense of fulfilment that others around you seem to so easily have.

You start to believe there must be something wrong with you. Flawed, lacking in some way. You question what other people think of you. “Do they think I’m boring? Am I too much? Do they even like me?”

You beat yourself up for even thinking this way. “Whats wrong with you, you should be happy, why are you so miserable, who would want to be around this anyway.”

This harsh critique leaves you feeling defeated and hopeless.

This is the inner world of so many women and girls I work with. This used to be my inner world too.
