A Warm Welcome to Therapy with Steph

Hello Im Steph, an Accredited CBT Therapist Specialising in supporting Women during midlife to manage anxiety, stress and perimenopause / menopause

A nurturing space where you’ll be understood and truly heard

My approach

I use Cognitive behavioural Therapy for managing a range of anxiety issues and low self-steem.

I have undertaken further evidence based training to support women who are impacted by perimenopausal symptoms.

We'll work together to:

  • Manage hot flushes and nightsweats

  • Identify and manage stress and anxiety

  • Improve sleep

  • Build self-compassion

  • Develop a deeper understanding of hormonal changes and how they affect mind and body

Providing you with a safe and confidential space

Your appointments will take place in a private and confidential therapy room in my home in the village of Whatton, Nottinghamshire.

In-person and remote options

I also offer online sessions via Teams or telephone, where you can relax in the comfort of your own home. I have significant experience in adapting therapy for clients online and evidence suggests, it to be equally effective as face to face therapy.

Support Offered

  • We will explore what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to get out of our sessions.

  • I offer weekly CBT Therapy for low self esteem and anxiety.

  • I can assist you in developing a relapse plan at the end of treatment to support you to maintain the progress you have made.

  • I can provide a written report mid/end of treatment. This will summarise the support you have received, the focus of our sessions and the progress you have made. This can be helpful if other professionals are involved in your /your child’s care.
